Become a Member

Dear Students,

Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, is accepting applications for membership from students majoring and minoring in psychology this semester. This application is open to all majors and minors who fit the requirements. The application is due by Friday, February 19th, 2024 at 11:59PM. Review the eligibility criteria below and complete the application here.

Requirements to be accepted for membership in Psi Chi:

-3.3 overall GPA
-3.5 Psychology GPA (check your Academic Requirements page in PAWS)
-Must have completed at least 3 semesters at TCNJ
-Must have taken at least 4 psychology courses at TCNJ

NEW ELIGIBILITY POLICY FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS:

-SAME GPA requirements as above

-Must be entering third year of college or later

–NEW: All credits and grades from previous institutions now count towards Psi Chi eligibility

-Accepted students pay a lifetime membership fee of $60 in order to officially become members. These dues will be due shortly after acceptance.
